Wordless Wednesday

A lot was going on around Bugs birthday. Especailly with the loss of our camera. I never posted her birthday party pictures because we had to wait to get them from the people who took pictures. So, we finally have them, and I'll post a few. Again, don't laugh at my cake! I'm not a great cake decorator.

I don't think you should worry about anyone laughing at your cake and the birthday shares are great. You might be surprised how many don't put any personal effort into events and birthday cakes anymore. I think that's priceless and it's a bigger gift than you can quantify. Can you believe how fast they grow?

Hugs,
Holly

When I was a kid, I got birthday parties up until my dad go sick but after that, it ended. I want them to feel special on their birthday and know that I treasure the day that they were born. Of course, my husband thinks I go overboard, and may I do. But still, I feel great seeing her so happy. I'd rather make the cake anyday than buy it.. Plus no one does a yell cake mix, with almond flavoring in it... which is the best!

The cake looks good to me. I bet it tasted even better. Looks like a good party.
