Weekly Update

So, I did start a weight loss blog. Did my first weigh in Wednesday, I lost 3 lbs last week. But I am sure my cheese burger and medium fries today put it back on. How I wish Subway had a drive-thru sometimes. I think I look at food and gain weight. Other than that, I am still having a lot of trouble adjusting to this new schedule. I thought it would only take a few days but it's already been a week. Maybe soon? If not, Redmosqui isn't teaching summer school so he'll be home all summer and maybe I will be less tired. Too tired to even do a long weekly update. We're going to Zootastic park on the 15th, and Strawberry picking on the 17th. Not much else planned for the week. Bug and Bee are looking forward to this weekend. I am looking forward to tomorrow since I am now off on Friday and Saturday. I have an award to pass on tomorrow so I will do that too. And maybe do a more lengthy update.

Just to make this post a little bit longer, I'll share song lyrics with you that I listen to pretty much around this time since it is would have been my dads birthday on the 20th. I listen to this song because it just reminds me how short life can be, even if you live for a long time. My dad didn't live for a long time. He didn't make it to 60, but the lyrics always grab me around this time.

"100 Years" --- Five For Fighting

I'm 15 for a moment
Caught in between 10 and 20
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
I'm 22 for a moment
She feels better than ever
And we're on fire
Making our way back from Mars

15 there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to lose
15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got a hundred years to live

I'm 33 for a moment
Still the man, but you see I'm a they
A kid on the way babe
A family on my mind

I'm 45 for a moment
The sea is high
And I'm heading into a crisis
Chasing the years of my life

15 there's still time for you
Time to buy, Time to lose yourself
Within a morning star
15 I'm all right with you
15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got a hundred years to live

Half time goes by
Suddenly you're wise
Another blink of an eye
67 is gone
The sun is getting high
We're moving on...

I'm 99 for a moment
Dying for just another moment
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
15 there's still time for you
22 I feel her too
33 you're on your way
Every day's a new day...

15 there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to choose
Hey 15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got a hundred years to live~

Hope everyone is having a good week.
