Best Gift Ever!

I actually planned on not posting anything until next year. But Redmosqui is congested and apparently so is the dog. They're both snoring in some musical unison. It's crazy.... And a little bit annoying but what can you do?

So, I decided to write about the best Christmas present ever. It's the only one I look forward to getting every year and I would be heart-broken if I didn't get it in my stocking. I have 20 of them now, and wouldn't change it for the world. My husband makes it for me. I used to get them more frequently, BC. But as we all know, children change everything.  Time being one of those things. The gift is what Redmosqui calls "A Short Story Put to Music." He sums up our entire year on a cd and makes a sound track of our year. So, if I took them all and put them together, it's the Story of our lives together. From the month we met until now. I love this gifts. It's almost like the story the Notebook. Except of course I don't have alzheimers or anything like that. Hopefully I don't ever get it, and hopefully I don't ever stop getting my short stories. :)  When I tell people about it, they think it's amazing and super sweet. It's more than that.  I wish I had something as thoughtful as that to give Redmosqui. I guess I am just not that creative. He gets little notes with drawings of penguins and bunnies. Comical little poems and writings. He keeps them all though. I figure eventually when we do our vow renewal (with slightly more people there), we'll pull some things from these letters, notes, short stories. IF we do that. It was originally the plan, but Redmosqui said his marriage to me doesn't expire so we'll see.  :)
